Las Vegas baby! It is always exciting to see all the new things and this summer was no exception. It was similar to what we saw in January in terms of color. Bright Orange is still the hot color for accessories and upholstery. The colors seemed to shift a bit from the spa blue to much brighter blues like Marine and even Navy. So if you are a blue lover, this is your season! We saw a huge array of wall decor. A collection of cracked eggs or bikes or flying pigs showed a whimsical side, we saw more traditional collections of bronzed leaves and then they showed an urban look with tree sections and metal disks. Basically, anything that strikes you fancy could be found in wall decor. We also saw a bunch of industrial design. Metal bookcases with a warehouse feel, metal top tables trimmed in wood, and cement tables for those who want to go totally organic. The area rugs showed more texture and animal skins too, mixed in with the wool’s. The trend seemed to be more contemporary in styling for the most part in upholstered furniture, flooring, accessories and casegoods. So there you have it—- the trends for the rest of 2015.
